This isn’t my first rodeo blogging about Ekaterinburg Stadium (or Arena as some foreigners are calling it) where four group stage matches will be played from June 15-June 27. You’ll get Mexico, Sweden, Uruguay, Japan, France, Peru, Senegal & Egypt in the stadium that features the most insane seating scaffolding I’ve ever seen in use and someone is going to end up buying a seat in that top row from a scalper and puke all over the guy in front of him.
It’s going to happen. I’m talking Russian beer puke all over the next to last row. I’m not even sure I’d sit in those seats. I’d go down to the stadium bar and get all LIT TF UP on Russian vodka and forget I blew threw money on Row 600 seats.

Capacity
During the tournament, the Ekaterinburg Arena will be able to hold up to 35,000 spectators. After the World Cup, the plan is to reduce the capacity by removing the temporary stands.
Location
The largest sporting facility in the Urals is located in the centre of Ekaterinburg, the capital of the region. The main entrance to the stadium can be found on Ulitsa Repin, one of the main thoroughfares in the city. The reconstruction and renovation project of the stadium ensured a multi-functional sports complex was added to the redevelopment of the city centre in Ekaterinburg that has been ongoing for decades.
