The championship bender that Alex Ovechkin went on from Thursday night through yesterday will go down in history as one of the all-timers. Luckily for us, we live in an age where all of this could be documented, so if you were on the internet at all yesterday chances are you saw everything from the Caps smashing beers at the Nats game to them taking a dip in a public water fountain.
Finally, the day winded down a bit and Ovi hit the hay for the first time in about 48 hours. Of course, the Cup was right there by his side. If you’ve been paying attention, you’d know that the Stanley hasn’t left Ovi’s sight for this entire time. He even kicked his dog out of the bed just to make room for the trophy.
Ovi clearly loves having the Stanley Cup at home.

It’s been a hell of two days for this guy. I can only imagine the freaky stuff that went down in that bed last night. I’m sure you can get real creative when you bring the Cup into the mix.
