The Colorado Rockies kicked off their MLB Draft by selecting Ole Miss pitcher Ryan Rolison with the 22nd pick. By all accounts, a solid get by the Rockies as he was No. 17 on MLB.com’s big board, and No. 33 on Keith Law’s top 100.

But while Monday was a special night for Rolison as a professional, he also learned a valuable life lesson going forward: tweets live forever, even after deletion.
Someone dug through the lefty’s old Twitter history and came across a tweet he sent out on Nov. 6, 2012, in which he wanted Barack Obama shot. Rolison has since removed the tweet from his account, but, you know, that doesn’t really work for anyone:

Rolison was just 14 years old when he sent that out so we’re not going to drag him here. All you can do is hope the kid has matured a bit since then and isn’t wishing for assassinations no matter who the POTUS is.
