The Competition For a Tiger Woods Golf Ball Was Fierce

|

Spotted at Hole 17 of the Players Championship on Sunday were some of the next generation of degenerate autograph/merchandise hounds. Tiger Woods had just double bogeyed after hitting his tee shot into the drink, and a random opportunity for the ball he putted became available. As you can see above, those kids knew what was up. This was a must-have ball from the undisputed star in the game, and they fought like hell for it.

To be frank, I wouldn’t blame an adult for getting in on the action and bodying up a kid. A quick eBay search shows there is a real market out there for unsigned, tournament-used Tiger golf balls. It’s an easy $300 flip, at least!
