Fan catches foul ball in beer and then enjoys his brew with the ball still in the cup. A definite "web gem". ( Photo courtesy:' @ATTSportsNetPIT ) pic.twitter.com/bOtpy2NSGp

We had a textbook demonstration last night from this Pirates fan on how to snag a foul ball with your brew. We usually see a few of these a year and I normally place it right under catching a foul ball with one hand while the beer is in the other when it comes to degree of difficulty.
However, while catching the ball inside the beer cup may be easier than the bare hand seeing as we’re working with a makeshift glove here, you do have the chug factor to take into consideration. If you’re going to let that thing land in your $18 Miller, you better be ready to slam that thing with the ball inside. No excuses, play like a champion.

Now we don’t have video of him chugging the beer, which is a major disappointment, but we do have the next best proof that he did slam the beer. Thanks to Twitter, I can confirm that he did drink his beer with the ball inside the cup even though the cameras somehow didn’t catch it.
A guy just caught a foul ball into his beer, and he chugged the beer.
That guy is Pittsburgh.

Some dude just caught a foul ball in his beer. Legendary. Pretty sure that ovation was almost as long as Cutch's.

A guy in the front row of the upper deck just caught a foul ball in his cup of beer and then proceeded to chug the beer. Gets a bigger ovation than McCutchen. #Pirates

Phenomenal foul ball in the beer catch-and-chug by a fan in the 2nd deck at PNC Park.
Sensational.
