A little leaguer from Walnut, CA has gone viral for his slow motion trot to home plate. The Internet is absolutely in love and calling for him to be a guest on Ellen DeGeneres’ show, but all I can wonder is if a fastball to the noggin is in his future. Baseball, of course, is a game with unwritten rules and surely taking one minute to get from third base to home plate calls for some sort of action:

There is no doubt in my mind there was at least one parent in attendance who was not having this nonsense and holds similar views to Brian Dozier and Salvador Perez. I mean, even the kid’s coach got tired of it and stepped in to get his ass moving, to no avail. The kid was committed to the act — hopefully there are no repercussions next week.
