Jay Cutler Expected To Retire (Again), Head To TV (Again)

The Jason Witten retirement news earlier today was a pretty big surprise. Yeah, he’s been in the league for cool 25 years it seems like at this point, but there weren’t any rumblings about it before it was reported and apparently the Cowboys were blindsided by it.

This one you could’ve seen coming from a mile away. Cutty already retired once and the only reason he came back last season was to collect a cool $10 million and play for Adam Gase one last time after Ryan Tannehill went down for the year.
So this news of Cutty calling it quits today should come as no surprise. Good news for us is that he and Cavalarri aren’t going anywhere anytime soon. This isn’t your ordinary ride off into the sunset and disappear kind of retirement.

Earlier this month, Cutty’s wife Kristin Cavallari landed her own reality show, which now we can definitely expect to see a lot of Jay appearances in.
US Weekly:

As Us Weekly reported in February, the 31-year-old has landed her own docu-series. The show titled Very Cavallari will premiere this summer, E! announced on Wednesday, April 4.

“We will see Kristin push herself as a boss of a new and expanding brand while combating the pressure to succeed,” Amy Introcaso-Davis, EVP of Development and Production at E!, said in a statement. The mom of Camden, 5, Jaxon, 3, and Saylor, 2, will also  “be challenged with juggling her staff or strong-willed employees” and carving out time for her husband of four years, Jay Cutler.

Also, as RapSheet mentioned in his tweet, you still have the Fox deal that Cutler was planning on doing before making his comeback last season during the preseason. So there’s still a lot of the table for Cutler. We should still be seeing a lot of him and I can only imagine the content we will get out of him now that’s officially done with football.

Now it’s time to ramp up the @ifjayhadinstagram account
