Go ahead and pour one out to all the anonymous scouts and fans who labeled Shohei Ohtani a bust after an underwhelming spring training. Japanese Babe Ruth appears to actually be Japanese Babe Ruth early on. Josh Tomlin fell victim to Ohtani Tuesday, and Corey Kluber followed suit today after allowing a two-run bomb in the fifth inning:

For those who argued hitting a home run off Tomlin isn’t an impressive feat, there you go. That’s a home run off a two-time Cy Young Award winner, which should suffice. Ohtani is now up to five hits in 11 at bats.
