Taking the mound on a snowy day doesn’t seem like something most pitchers would welcome, but Fernando Rodney isn’t most pitchers. The DR native embraced the elements Wednesday night as he struck out two in a scoreless ninth-inning against the Pirates.
But this post isn’t about Fernando avoiding one of his classic meltdowns. It’s about a baseball treasure opening his mouth wide for some snowflakes before getting the last out, because this is the type of stuff you just never see :
