Loyola didn’t need a three pointer to defeat Miami in the closing seconds of their first-round matchup, but they got one anyway from senior guard Donte Ingram.
Ingram, who scored 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds this afternoon, teed up a long straightaway three after a bricked free throw by Lonnie Walker IV. 0.3 seconds would be left for the Canes after this basket, but they weren’t able to answer with magic of their own.
