Looks Like Jose Altuve Had a Miserable Time at the White House

Perhaps AL MVP Jose Altuve should have followed Carlos Correa’s lead to skip the Astros’ White House visit today, because the guy couldn’t help but shoot nasty looks in Donald Trump’s direction. Whether Jose likes it or not, he has probably become a hero to the left and a villain to the right of American politics after these death stares:

If standing right behind POTUS didn’t grate on Jose enough, he was also forced to shake hands with Trump after taking a jab about his height. Though he should take some solace in the fact that his hands appear to be bigger.

If you’re wondering why Correa, a native of Puerto Rico, bailed on Trump, the Houston Chronicle reported he had a “family obligation.” Other missing Astros players included: Ken Giles, Carlos Beltran, and Francis Martes.
