Well, well, well…what do we have here out of the University of Michigan football director of performance. A DUI at 11:50 a.m. on a Monday? Bro, sup with that? And it sounds like the police had to get a blood sample. Doesn’t sound like the Breathalyzer was administered in this case – see below.
From MLive.com:

Fergus Connolly, 40, of Ann Arbor was arrested about 11:50 a.m. at First and Mosley streets in Ann Arbor, Ann Arbor police Detective Lt. Matthew Lige confirmed in an email.
Connolly has not been formally charged.
In a statement, the Michigan athletic department said: “We are aware of an incident involving Fergus Connolly. We are still awaiting more detailed information before commenting further.”
Lige would not release additional details of the incident.
“We have lab results that need to be submitted before charges can be brought,” Lige said. “That will take several weeks.”

A quick check of Fergus’ bio at Michigan tells us that he has a PhD in computer integration- based optimization from the University of Limerick and has ties to Ireland. Going out on a limb here and saying that Fergus is an Irishman who lives by it’s 5 o’clock somewhere.

Guess Fergus is some big time author too:
