I’m not sure now is the time to get in the Arizona Cardinals tailgating game given the NFC West is suddenly loaded with stout teams (who all have quarterbacks), but if you’re in the market, the converted 1973 Landau motorhome above has been sitting for the past month. The owner says it’s the “most recognized tailgate rig at the University of Phoenix,” and backed his claim with a screenshot from Tailgater Monthly:
From the Craigslist ad:
The Big Red Woody(BRW) started as a 1973 Landau motor home and was converted in 2007 to what was without question the most recognized tailgate rig at the University of Phoenix stadium(Stadium and BRW inauguration was 8/1/2006).
Retired from service in 2015 due to kids, work, family, etc (you get it). We averaged 20 people per game in 2006 and by 2009 were at 90-100 per game. Largest was Playoff game with Philadelphia(1/18/09)- 225 attendees!
The interior was gutted and finished to match the Univ of Phx suites – cork flooring with hash marks/metal roof/seats covered in material from the Club Level. The exterior is Cardinals Red (vermillion red) and graphics from the team.
It has an air conditioner (new in 2010/new awning in 2011/) and is wired for speakers and Direct TV (2 inside/1 outside). Gas BBQ with 50 gallon propane tank
Once again, another tailgating vehicle hits Craigslist for family reasons. Another reminder that we should all be delaying that noise as long as we possibly can.
As for the RV, maybe come in with an offer around the $3,800 range — it’s been available for a while now so the seller could possibly jump at the first offer he receives. Also, the interior doesn’t exactly blow me away despite being modeled after University of Phoenix suites.
