The big story of the day that everybody pretty much assumed was already going on, except for Dickie V, was the release of schools involved in the FBI’s NCAA probe of player’s getting under the table money. All the familiar faces were in it, basically all the schools you see at the top of the recruiting rankings every year. Duke, UNC, Kentucky, Texas, and Michigan State, who had star Miles Bridges named.
It’ll be interesting to see where this goes and how, or if, it has an effect on March Madness this year. If it doesn’t, it still looks like college basketball as we know it is about to change one way or another.
With that said, I know one person who didn’t take impermissible benefits and it’s Rachel from MSU. I’d be willing to bet she attended on her own accord, without any influence from agents or shoe companies – unlike these dirty college players who took money to help their families or have an extra sandwich every now and then.
