It’s Tebow Day at Mets camp today with the college football analyst arriving for his first workout at big league spring training. We’ve been waiting for this day ever since the Mets announced that he would have a spot with the real spring training squad and not the lame minor league camp like last year.

That means more attention than ever will be in Port St. Lucie. Undisputed will probably be┬ádoing live shows from outside First Data Field at some point over the next month and hype train is just beginning. Last week, the Mets announced that they’d like him to start the year in Double-A as long as he doesn’t totally suck this spring.

Of course, right when Timmy arrived, the Mets wasted no time throwing this out on social media to get everybody fired up while also capitalizing on the click potential. But how about that swing? Looking real good.

It should fun watching him face some real big league pitching for the next month and a half. I’m surprised Baseball Tonight hasn’t already set up and outdoor studio down there yet.

Here’s a vote of confidence

Bigs by July.

Sandy Alderson just said this on Tim Tebow: "I think he will play in the Major Leagues."
