Fergie turned in a national anthem performance tonight at the NBA All-Star Game that will be talked about for the next 20 years, if not longer. It was that horrible. I knew about three words in that she was headed for disaster and then Little BC — he’s 5 — asked “why is that lady singing like that?”
It was all over from there.
You knew the NSFWBDs would be all over this one because of the level of disaster. They were forced to suffer through Kevin Hart’s introduction jokes, then the Barenaked Ladies (yes, they’re still out there hustling) singing the Canadian anthem and then Fergie doing her thing.
It was about 35 minutes of torture.
The NBA clearly has something to work on for next year’s ASG.
