For the second Sunday in a row, there was major disappointment in the city of Boston as LeBron James came to town and took a piss all over Paul Pierce Day. Sure, the ceremony was nice with Doc Rivers, Danny Ainge, and others recalling their favorite moments with Paul, but was it worth getting trolled by LeBron for two hours like the good ol’ days? Probably not!
At least 3 times in the 2nd quarter LeBron made a shot and looked straight at Doc Rivers/Garnett/Rondo under hoop after (h/t @fultzjumper) pic.twitter.com/UshZkgiWtZ

Pierce, of course, made sure to get this day all for himself by denying Isaiah Thomas’ tribute video, and boy did he ever. ESPN cameramen were all up in their colleague’s face as he watched the new-look Cavs steamroll his Celtics:

Doc, Kevin Garnett and his hoodie, and Rajon Rondo also had deflating looks on their faces while watching The King do work:

And Kyrie Irving? Yeah, not a great day for him, either:
