Kirk Cousins now will be leaving Washington.

Somehow the biggest news to come out of Super Bowl week so far (I get that it’s only Wednesday, but this has been by far the worst Super Bowl week for content in years) was the big Alex Smith to Washington trade that broke last night. Kansas City is moving on the to Mahomes era and Alex Smith got his one last fat contract before he hangs them up.
Mix in Kendall Fuller finding out that he got traded while he was on tweeting through his denial and we got ourselves the biggest story of Super Bowl week.

So now the story shifts to Kirk Cousins and where he’ll end up. Will he actually go to Cleveland where QBs die? Will he go to the Jets, which isn’t much better than Cleveland when it comes to QB wastelands? Or will he pick Denver, who still has an awesome defense and actually trotted out guys like Trevor Siemian and Brock Osweiler to win them games?
I know where Von Miller wants him. He wasted no time this morning getting the recruiting process off and running. It was just about 12 hours actually. He made an appearance on the DP Show earlier today:

He’ll have to wait a while. This trade doesn’t go through officially until March 14th. Legal tampering begins March 12, so he has plenty of time to get to ‘crootin. Maybe we’ll see these two on a banana boat together.
