Welp. The first player the Los Angeles Clippers have traded is neither DeAndre Jordan nor Lou Williams, but star power foward Blake Griffin. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports Griffin (and fillers) are headed to the Detroit Pistons for a package headlined by Tobias Harris, Avery Bradley, and draft picks.
Additional details on the players being exchanged by the Clips and Pistons:

Woj notes the first rounder headed to the Clippers is top-4 protected:

The Clippers just signed Blake Griffin to a five-year, $173 million deal over the offseason — he was largely expected to be the face of the team in the post-Chris Paul era… so much for that.
Sidenote: So much for the Clippers-Rockets rivalry. It was exciting for two weeks?

Update: Blake Griffin has tweeted!
