If you were hoping for more over-the-top coverage of Tom Brady’s “injured’ hand during Super Bowl week, we’re sad to inform you there appears to be no more drama surrounding his right paw. That was evident when Teflon did his thing against the Jaguars last week, but Ian Rapoport indicates Glovegate is officially behind us as 12 stitches were apparently removed earlier this week:
#Patriots QB Tom Brady had an appointment earlier this week to remove the 12 stitches on his throwing hand that he played with against the #Jaguars, sources say. Now he’s really on to Super Bowl LII.

Tom, of course, played with a black wrap on his hand when he threw for 290 yards and two touchdowns in the AFC Championship game. He’ll obviously be a go for Super Bowl Sunday…
WE CAME TO PLAY BAY BEEEEEEE RT @NFL_DovKleiman: Tom Brady came out with a black wrap on his hand and told the cameraman "F*ck out the way" https://t.co/So8E52erdQ
