Web.com Golfer Freaks Out, Throws Headcover At Caddy, Fires Caddy Over Infraction…Caddy Says Rules Official Was Wrong, Still Fired

We have ourselves a big time golfer vs. caddy story developing on the Web.com tour where golfer Rhein Gibson and Brandon Davis are in a war of words over what happened at The Bahamas Great Abaco Classic at The Abaco Club. Gibson accuses Davis of a royal fucc up that cost him a bunch of money and Davis his job.
From GolfWeek.com:

“It was just in the heat of the moment. I’m obviously playing well and I put myself in a great position, but when that happens it (could) cost me upwards of 15 or 18 thousands dollars,” Gibson told the Australian Associated Press. “He walks in there, gets my ball and costs me a penalty. At that point, I’m either trying to chip in or limit the damage and I made a good six (bogey).

GolfWeek estimates Gibson lost about $12,000 over the error, but Davis, via Twitter, is battling back and says it was a Web.com tour official who is to blame and that official should be held accountable.
Davis, who has been around a little bit, dove deep into the rules book and came up with his defense. There’s even a full YouTube video on all this. Can’t really blame the guy for defending himself here. Going to be hard to get a job if it was his fault.

First, let’s start with Gibson:

The caddy, who was fired, responds:

And now there’s a pain & suffering Gofundme for the caddy. The problem: only $5 has been raised.
Doesn’t look like it’s safe out there on the streets right now for the caddy.
