The stories from Vikings fans are starting to trickle in from Sunday’s game at Lincoln Financial where there’s clear video evidence that Eagles fans threw beers at Vikings fans who were walking to the stadium. Now, whether it was an isolated incident (Eagles fans always want the disclaimer added: *The idiots throwing things don’t represent the entire fan base…blah, blah, blah) or not, it happened. No getting around it.
Enter an unnamed Vikings fan whose video and story came to us from a fellow Vikings fan who thought readers should know some of what went down before Sunday’s game.
Here’s the gist of what’s being claimed by Vikings fan:
• Vikings fan takes 3-year old to NFC title game — I’m not making judgments here…my stance is clear, I wouldn’t take a child under 16 to any NFL game
• Vikings fan & 3 year old try to enter the Linc, but they have beer bottles thrown at them
• They get into the stadium, nice Eagles fans start asking about the experience getting into the stadium
• Eagles fan wearing eagle headgear thing tells Vikings fan he and his child “deserved it”
• Eagles fan, on video, tells Vikings dad that the 3 year old “can take it”
• Vikings fan reports that 50% of the Eagles fans were nice
• 50% were scumbags
