Last night, somewhere around the entire population of Minnesota showed up to the Mall of America to show love for their Vikings ahead of the NFC Championship tomorrow.
This little get together was organized by KARE 11 in Minneapolis and was designed to get as many Vikings fans as possible in that rotunda so they could break out a massive Skol chant.
Join KARE 11’s Julie Nelson live at the Mall of America Rotunda Friday, January 19 to show your Vikings pride ahead of the NFC Championship game. Help KARE 11 fill every level of the Rotunda with a huge SKOL chant lead by the Vikings Skol Line live on the news. All you have to do is wear your purple and bring your loud voice. KARE 11 will air the SKOL chant live during the 6 p.m. newscast!
They promoted it this week and last night, a small army of Vikes fans made their way down to mall just to do this chant. Now, this isn’t me making fun of them for going to the mall just to clap their hands in unison, this is me appreciating them. I love when cities rally like this, especially when it’s a tortured fan base like the Vikings. They deserve a moment like this. They should be doing things like this right now. Enjoy the ride.

Now the more times I watch these videos, the more it has me really rooting for a Vikings W tomorrow. Can you imagine if this team gets a home Super Bowl? Can you imagine how hyped that new stadium will be that night? If you’re a fan of good story and don’t live in Philadelphia, you should be rooting for that too.
