Alabama Strength Coach Scott Cochran Took a Sledgehammer to 2017 Runner-Up Trophy

Well, it looks like Alabama’s second-place trophy from the 2017 CFP Final no longer exists because strength coach Scott Cochran annihilated the hardware in the locker room Thursday. Cochran put on quite the motivational performance, as he slammed the glorified participation trophy to the ground before taking a sledgehammer to one of the larger pieces still in tact. If I were a Georgia fan I’d maybe be a little bit worried after watching this:


Despite the aggressive prop and F-bombs, none of the players seemed too interested in destroying the rest of the trophy. Though we suppose Cochran’s act was a tough one to follow intensity wise.
