Veteran referee Ted Valentine, you may also know him as TV Teddy, briefly put on a show during tonight’s North Carolina-Florida State game by shutting down Joel Berry with a turn of his back. As you can see below, Berry was justifiably irritated about Florida State benefiting from a non-foul call, and attempted to voice his displeasure. That’s when TV Teddy took center stage…
Joel Berry gets held, which leads to a turnover (easy call to miss in transition, BUT) Ted Valentine then refuses to engage Berry in conversation, literally turning his back to him. pic.twitter.com/q8jxDtVhFC

Honestly a quick trigger technical on Berry would have been less disrespectful than that move. I look forward to MLB umpire Angel Hernandez trying this out in the future.
As for the actual game, Berry caught fire and scored 28 points with four three pointers. However, he caught a second L as Florida State pulled out a one-point victory.
