With Ryan Tannehill eventually returning from injury, it was a given that Jay Cutler’s stint with the Dolphins would be a one-year thing. His wife, Kristin Cavallari, pretty much confirmed that on Instagram today by posting a family pic with a caption that notes “the end of another chapter” and a #ItsBeenRealFl hashtag:

Kristin’s caption:
The end of another chapter. Feeling very grateful for the past few months. Thank you @miamidolphins for taking such great care of me and my family. Back home and this time we took Jay with us 💛 #ItsBeenRealFL
Jay threw for 2,666 yards and 19 touchdowns (and 14 interceptions) in 14 games this past season. He didn’t exactly set the world on fire, but the $10 million contract was probably worth it for the Patriots victory alone. Another retirement stint is likely on the horizon as Jay doesn’t want to be a backup next season.
