Elfrid Payton is shooting 50 percent from the field this season, which is pretty damn good given the handicap he has every night with that ridiculous hairstyle. Seriously. Look at those photos above, an NBA player is willfully blocking his own vision for the sake of style and no one on the Magic has stopped to think, “Hmm… that hair has to go”.
Maybe that talk will happen now with Elfrid going viral because of this hairball he threw up against the Nets Monday night:

Just baffling. Imagine how much higher his field goal percentage would be without the obstructed view. At the very least it might help his putrid free throw situation (58 percent from a guard!), right?
