Three-star kicking recruit Joseph Petrino committed to Maryland on Wednesday, news which normally wouldn’t make us bat an eye since, you know, he’s a damn kicker. However, Petrino comes to Maryland with the novelty factor of being able to make 50-yard plus field goals with either leg. He’s pretty much football’s answer to switch-pitcher Pat Venditte — watch the witchcraft below:

This may seem like a useless skill, but there are definitely some pros here. If Petrino were to ever suffer an injury to one of his feet, he can obviously resort to his healthy leg. Also I’m sure no one has ever made a field goal with both legs in a game before so that could definitely happen if his coach ever greenlights it.
