ESPN makes another terrible move, removes Teddy Atlas from live fight coverage

ESPN just can’t get out of their own way, can they? Just one bad decision after another. This one really baffles me.

ESPN has removed its top boxing analyst from ringside for being too critical.
Teddy Atlas, who has been a high-profile boxing trainer and analyst, is no longer doing live fights for ESPN, and the Los Angeles Times reported it is because of his combative comments about both the sport’s judges and his company teammates.
Atlas attacked the judges’ decision after Australian Jeff Horn upset Manny Pacquiao in July in Brisbane. Then last month he sparred with new co-analyst Mark Kriegel during ESPN’s broadcast of a fight card in Fresno, Calif.

Teddy Atlas does nothing but yell and create gold television, who cares if he attacks judges? That’s why we love him. He’s one of the most entertaining people ESPN puts out there these days because he does stuff like that. I can’t tell you how much I look forward to Teddy and Stephen A going at each other after a big fight. Just a terrible move.
