Leaky and burnable are just a few of the adjectives that could be used to describe the Chiefs’ pass defense this season, and the recent signing of Darrelle Revis sure as hell isn’t a remedy for the team’s woes.
Not only is CB Darrelle Revis active for the Chiefs today, he’s serving as a team captain against the Jets.

Revis, who was a designated a team captain for today’s game against the Jets (of course), made his debut today, and surprise, he still looks terrible! He’s giving opposing receivers massive cushion — you know, can’t get burned against his former team — while his tackling remains nonexistent. Dude should have stayed retired:

#Jets cut the lead to 14-7. A truly awful tackling series for the #Chiefs. Here’s a whiff from Darrelle Revis @KCTV5 pic.twitter.com/8ijQwVyEg3

On the plus side, Revis is getting two paychecks today so he still wins!
Darrelle Revis will be paid more by the #Jets today to play against them than he will be paid by the #Chiefs. (about $300K vs 60K)
