Despite a pretty productive campaign with the Spurs last season, David Lee officially called it a career in an Instagram post on Sunday.
Lee, who played 12 seasons and enjoyed success with the Knicks and Warriors, had friends and family over to celebrate the life milestone, which included an impressive backyard fireworks display. He credits his fiancee (Caroline Wozniacki) for planning the big get together:

Wozniacki posted the same photos and video on her IG, and included a very flattering caption that shouted out numerous career accolades and praise for being a good person:
Incredible night last night celebrating @dlee042 retirement from the NBA with our friends and family! His career speaks for itself: 2015 NBA CHAMPION 2 time ALL STAR 2 team captain More than 11,000 career points Over 7000 rebounds Most importantly, why I am so proud of him, is because of the person he is, and how he has carried himself throughout his career. His professionalism, positive attitude and killer instinct will be a key contributor helping him along on this new epic journey! Dave you are such an inspiration, not only to me, but to all the people around you! I love you so much and can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes us!
Lee’s month of November to date: popped the question to a tennis superstar, walked away from the NBA with a ring and nearly $95 million in career earnings. Not a bad way to head into Thanksgiving week.
