So what’s going on with this Jerry Jones-NFL saga? 

To me, it seems like nothing. Really, it just looks like Jerry is mad that Goodell suspended his boy and now wants to ruin these extension talks for Goodell by threatening to sue. The NFL isn’t doing anything, Jerry’s hasn’t actually sued anybody, so basically nothing has happened. Everybody is just sitting there with their thumb up their ass. Jerry vs Goodell is the battle I’m here for, let’s just get this thing going already. An update from yesterday seems like Dec. 13th is when some shit will start to go down after Jerry requested a meeting.

In the letter, Jones also refers to “severe threats of retaliation” from fellow owners that “demonstrate the dysfunction of the current process.”
According to Beaton, the members of the Compensation Committee already have rejected the request for a special meeting, explaining that a previously-scheduled December 13 will give them “ample opportunity” to address the situation.
