Either Jon Gruden is the greatest troll walking the planet right now or he’s Tennessee’s next head football coach because bringing up Rocky Top unprompted while doing an interview on Seattle sports radio is not something you just do out of the blue.
So there are only two things that can be happening here. 1. Gruden knows about all those Grumors swirling around in Knoxville and is playing a cruel joke on all of the Tennessee fans who want him as their next coach. Or 2. He’s already agreed to be the next coach and is dropping a little hint for what will be announced at some point in the future.
