By now you’ve seen Justin Turner’s walk-off tank to end Game 2 of NLCS that’s sending the Dodgers to Chicago with a 2-0 lead in the series. It was an awesome moment and even crazier that it happened on the anniversary of Kirk Gibson’s famous home run.
Afterwards, across town at the Staples Center, we had this Cubs fan decked out in all of her gear sitting alone in a perfect spot for the Kings mascot to come over and give her a nice pie to the face. I want to believe it’s real, most the internet already does (just go take a gander at the responses to these tweets), but I just can’t. We can’t believe any of these stunts anymore.

“LIKE OMG I’M SO SURPRISED!”
Once, just once I want one of these arena pranks to be real. How great would it have been if this was a real Cubs fan? But unfortunately it’s 2017, so we’re going to be stuck with fake proposals and shit like this. Maybe one day.
Hey Chicago what do you say…you got a pie in your face today 🎵🎵🎵 #IHateThatSong #ThisTeam #ThatsCub pic.twitter.com/ZGei8Ae6td
