What a time to be a Tennessee fan. The Vols are suffering incredible losses like the one at Florida where Butch Butch’d that game and then there’s what happened Saturday in Knoxville – a 41-0 beatdown – where fans were fighting each other.
Rovell’s claiming a buyout would cost the school (boosters who’ll pay it) $6.8 million. We’re getting close to the number where Derek Dooley, the previous Vols coach, was let go with a $5 million buyout. Butch, 33-23 over 4+ seasons, is on life support, but he’s 3-0 in bowl games with the Vols and has back-to-back 9-4 seasons. The big problem here is that the SEC East has been garbage and he can’t even get to the SEC title game. Tennessee hasn’t played in the SEC title game since 2007 and haven’t won it since 1998.
Time to pony up some cash, Vols fans.
$2.5M (2018) $2.5M (2019), $2.5M (2020) + 1.7M left on 2017.

Did I mention that it was Peyton Manning Day on Saturday? He was awarded with his College Football Hall of Fame plaque while the home team was down 24-0.
So we’re left with anger, blowouts and threats to drive a pom pom up an ass.
