So how much does Carson Wentz owe Eagles hero kicker Jake Elliott for making the 61-yard game-winning field goal Sunday against the Giants? Oh, only $31,000 and change, according to Mike Garafolo. That’s nice money for a kicker who is making $465,000 on a one-year contract with the Eagles after being drafted and cut by the Bengals in this year’s draft.
Now he’s a hero in Philly where once you’re a hero you have several chances to screw up and still maintain that hero status.
That'll be $31,764.71 made out to J-A-K-E E-L-L-I-O-T-T. https://t.co/d1xbMVO1T9
