Somehow this story slipped through the cracks yesterday, but it’s a pretty big one: Derek Jeter and Hannah Davis welcomed their daughter to the world yesterday.
That’s right Derek MFing Jeter is a lame dad now. 5 years ago I was convinced Jeter was going to live out his days bouncing around from model to model until he died. There was no reason to believe that wouldn’t happen. Then he started dating Hannah Davis, then he got married and now he’s a dad. What a turn of events for the Jeets.

Don’t forget he’s also now an owner of the Marlins, so it was a big-time week for these two. I now fully expect to see some paparazzi shots of Jeter in some fresh Air Monarchs, rocking the cargo shorts and pushing a stroller. The dad life hits hard.
