Falcons Fans to Be Tortured By Closed Chick-fil-A at New Stadium

By all accounts, Intern Danny did a solid job touring the Atlanta Falcons‘ new Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Tuesday. Urinal shots, team showers, beating Rovell to the menus — the guy did it all… sans taking a photo of the Chick-fil-A that will be operational just one time during the regular season.

That’s right. Falcons fans will enter their beautiful new dome every Sunday and see a Chick-fil-A that will not be churning out those delightful spicy chicken sandwiches. So sad.

Zaxby's now the official chicken of the Falcons. That doesn't mean Chick Fil-A isn't in the new stadium. It is closed on Sundays, however. pic.twitter.com/TfCIa3rz5T

If you’re a Falcons fan who must have Chick-fil-A at the game, the dates to circle are Aug. 26 vs. Arizona (stadium opener) and Dec. 7 vs. New Orleans for Thursday Night Football. Though, the Washington Post notes there are numerous “non-Sunday” events the restaurant will be open for.

Seems like a waste of space, but marketing!

Marketing. Make you crave it.
