Here’s why you don’t trade up to draft a kicker in the 2nd round
Because he might turn out to be awful and you’ll have to cut him after a year and 1 preseason game. Roberto Aguayo got cut by Bucs yesterday and is now one of the worst draft picks of all-time. Yes, of all -time. Not only did they waste a 2nd round pick on a kicker, but they traded up for him! I still can’t believe that. I get that he was automatic in college, but that means jack shit once he gets to the next level. He pretty much missed every thing from the get-go. You can’t waste a pick much worse than that.
