The Mets are an absolute dumpster fire so it makes total sense that they’ve decided to move Tim Tebow, who’s slashing .222/.311/.340 with three home runs and 69 strikeouts (in 63 games), from Class A Columbia to Class A St. Lucie.
Tim Tebow is moving up. The Mets are promoting him to Class A St. Lucie.

According to MLB.com’s Anthony DiComo, Mets GM Sandy Alderson claims to be impressed by Tebow’s advanced metrics (lololololool):
Though Tebow was batting just .222 with a .651 OPS in 63 games for Columbia, Mets general manager Sandy Alderson said the team has been impressed by his increased exit velocity, among other advanced metrics.
Of course, BC HQ isn’t shocked at all by this news considering the Mets are planning to have their cash cow in Double A after the All-Star break.
You knew something was up when Tebow dropped this tweet:
Be kind. Be compassionate. Be generous. And know that God loves you!
