The Braves were probably aiming to flip RA Dickey around the trade deadline when they signed him to a one-year, $7.5 million deal this past offseason. That could still be in the cards but, you know, he’ll have to turn it around in a big way (currently sporting a 4.17 ERA, 1.56 WHIP, and his lowest K/9 since 2008) for that to happen.
But crappy season aside, Dickey is keeping busy off the field as he’s looking to sell his remodeled Nashville home for $1.8 million. According to public records he bought the place back in 2012 for $1.18 million so there’s some pocket money to be made here.
Details from RA’s realtor:
Gracious & Comfortable home remodeled in 2012 by Bryan & Myers. Designer touches throughout. Mostly 1-level living, 4 fireplaces, outstanding kitchen, beautiful outdoor spaces including vaulted screened porch. Must see inside!
If you were hoping for a pool to relax in during the summer, you’re out of luck. Great playground for the kids, though.
Additional highlights of the home:
- Six beds/ Six baths/ 6,811 sqft
- Three miles from Whole Foods
- Butterfly art for DAYS
- Nine miles from Deja Vu Nashville
