Want to use valet at the Cosmo?
It’ll now cost $13 for up to 4 hours and $18 for 24 hours. I know, it costs more to park for hockey in Toledo, Ohio. From the Las Vegas Sun: For self-parking the first hour is free, then it’s $7 for up to four hours, $10 for four to 24 hours and $10 for each additional day. In addition, the resort will have special pricing during events, generally between 4 p.m. and 11 p.m. Identity members and registered hotel guests are not subject to event pricing.
The old days are over forever. The old timers are dying off in record numbers and we’re now left with a California generation that will gladly pay resort fees and parking rates that are nothing compared to what they’re spending to live in L.A.
Advice if you want to actually see some things outside the Strip: Fly in, rent a car, spend a night or two at Red Rock Casino, do a day trip to the park, maybe spend an extra night and go up to Mt. Charleston or get really crazy and go to Zion. Then return the car, hit the Strip, live outside your means and go home and never regret a minute of the trip.
