The Rockets are Selling $1 Pregame Beers Again

The last time the Houston Rockets sold $1 beers to their fans, they beat the Thunder and owner Leslie Alexander chewed out a referee (and earned a $100,000 fine) — long story short, it was a lit. We should expect a similar rowdy atmosphere for Game 6 against the Spurs, because the Rockets are once again pushing cheap booze to get fans out to the Toyota Center early:

What you need to know if you’re headed out to the game (via The Houston Chronicle):

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and beer inside the arena will be just $1 until 6:30 p.m.
There also will be a Bud Light Liftoff Party outside Toyota Center, featuring music, entertainment, face-painters, make-a-sign stations and trivia games. Stephanie Rice, from NBC’s The Voice, also will perform.

There you go, one hour to drink yourself into oblivion before prices inflate back to $10.

Need a note to get out of work? James Harden has you covered:
