Day 3 of the draft is really where the NFL brings out all of the stops. Instead of having Roger Goodell standing at the podium mumbling through picks or having a former player who doesn’t even know how to spell his team’s name announcing it, they get a little creative.
Not many people are glued to their TV’s on a Saturday afternoon to see which Mountain West guard can make an impact this year, so they let other people do it. I saw the Texans had an astronaut up in the ISS announce on of their picks earlier, and just a while ago, the Colts got a real life monkey from zoo to pick for them.
Mike Mayock? Not a fan of that at all.

And of course, people who hate fun came to his defense.

I guess I can see their point to some extent, but it’s not that big of a deal. Let’s just all relax.
