Wizards Fans Let The Refs Know How Bad They Were With A Synchronized Chant

We see bad officiating all the time in sports and deservedly, fans will rip their asses for it. But no sport has more consistently bad refereeing more than basketball. Remember the National Championship a few weeks back? Ruined by the refs. The NBA normally isn’t as bad as college, but when they’re bad, they’re BAD. Let’s also not forget about the time they had a mobbed up ref, but that’s a story for a different day.
So last night’s Game 2 between the Hawks and Wizards was essentially unwatchable because of the refs. Every 2 seconds we had a whistle. Now we see fans get angry at refs all of the time, but I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a whole arena chant at them in unison like this.

That’s when you know it’s bad. When 18,000 people are all on the same page, with the same opinion on the job you’re doing, it’s not a good look. That either means you awful at your job or this crowd is the most anti-ref crowd of all time. I’ll take the former.
