This is a good time to ask the question: Why did (does) Bass Pro advertise so much on First Take? I mean, the show was created to cause black guys and unemployed white guys from 18-24 to sit there for hours watching dumb debates. It wasn’t like those demos were going to Bass Pro – ever. Have you ever been in a Bass Pro? It’s middle aged white people for days…and days.
Anyway, LaVar Ball finally made it to First Take because First Take was tired of watching Skip and Shannon get the quote machine on Undisputed or whatever they call that stupid show. So the First Take bosses did the smart thing and took the show to LaVar. Bump the ratings a bit, give the show a boost and see if you can’t get a couple of viral moments out of the show that you can promote for the next few months until the draft.
Annnnnnndddd…most of the NSFWBDs weren’t having it. Of course most were watching, but they’re getting burnt out by LaVar. Not me, keep giving me dumb quotes.
