Remember Monday when I told you Orlando City FC was my new favorite MLS team because the fans are crazy Florida people who have crazy chants and are pretty much as close to Euro hooligans as we’re going to get in the U.S.? Yeah, well now there’s video of the Orlando City fans tangling with a New York fan who tangled with a cop and going balls to the walls after Sunday night’s game.
New favorite sports team. I called dibs. Guarantee the Internet tries to jump on the bandwagon now that I’ve shown how great they are.
Watch this dumbass…love it:
Police said Monday that Felix Vazquez, 27, and Katerine Sopilidis, 24, both of whom live in the Bronx, New York, were arrested in connection with the incident.
Luciano Migliore, 19, also from New York, is charged with affray and resisting an officer without violence.
“I heard a fight between two people,” a witness said. “One was a NY fan, the other was an Orlando fan, and then the cops came to break up the fight and they started attacking the cops. They got clothes-lined, and he got slammed to the floor. It just became chaos, the cops had to arrest some people.”
The New York fan was the one who went after the cop’s neck. No way an Orlando fan would do something that stupid. Tasers flying. Chaos. Soccer IS BACK in Orlando.
