I might end up liking this MLS product after all. You’re telling me I can watch a soccer match in Orlando (sold out, BTW…PACKED) and hear fans chant “Move bitch, get off the pitch” when opponents fake injuries? I’m in. Not for the soccer, but for the chants. I’ll laugh every single time.
I’m on record as saying there’s no sports league in the world full of tryhards like the MLS. I’m on record as saying they want to be Europe soccer fan so bad it hurts and it’s always been a major turnoff for me.
But this is new ground.
I did a Google search for “Move bitch, get off the pitch” and can’t find a single reference to U.K. soccer or some German club. Orlando seems to own this chant.
New soccer stadium (last night was the opener – 25,000 and change showed up), legit chant, Florida Man & Florida Woman. This is my kind of soccer.
