How fast is Christian McCaffrey? He was faster than the other top running back draft hopefuls in the 40 today at the Combine. What does it all mean? He’s going in the first round and some coach (praying it’s not Belichick) will create an entire playbook for the new NFL hero. OK, so he can’t bench press a pretzel, but the dude is going to be insane because defenses can’t hit these guys, can’t touch them and the quarterbacks get all day to throw.
Worst-case scenario….McCaffrey ends up in an offense with a quarterback issues (Buffalo? Jets?). Us NFL fans deserve something like McCaffrey to the Seahawks or Green Bay. Could you imagine the Great White Reggie Bush getting paired up with Aaron Rodgers? Cris Collinsworth would need a week off of work.
