Bryce Harper is pretty good in his first at-bats. He’s already hit 4 home runs on Opening Day in his career, now he’s crushing bombs in his first at-bat of Spring Training. He might’ve had a down year last season after winning an MVP in 2015, but don’t expect that to last.
Also, seeing videos like this just make me happy. Not Bryce Harper playing well, because I am a Braves fan. But just seeing spring training baseball in general. That means warm weather, that means the Masters is around the corner, and that means March Madness is coming. It’s all coming together, folks.
Bryce Harper has now seen two pitches this spring. He homered on the first one. He lined an opposite-field single on the second one.
